Job Descriptions for Vacancies:
Traineeships
Workplace Traineeships combine practical experience at work with structured training that leads to a nationally recognised qualification. CLA is keen to support staff members who are eligible for workplace traineeships to attain Certificate III to IV in Disability Work.
Traineeships are available to both part-time and full-time employees who meet the eligibility criteria. Part-time employees must work a minimum of 15 hours per week and have been employed by CLA for less than 12 months. Full-time employees must have been employed by CLA for less than 3 months to be eligible for traineeships.
A trainee may be ineligible if they:
- Already have a formal qualification (Certificate II to IV) although qualifications older than 7 years may be exempt from this rule; or
- Already completed a traineeship, or currently studying in the community services industry.
